Manchester Waters – 300 Apartments

The Manchester Waters project includes the regeneration of a former 26-acre brownfield dockland site, located between Manchester City Centre, Salford Quays, and MediaCityUK. The Manchester Waters buildings are the first phase of the transformational Pomona Island development which will deliver 742 homes across five apartment towers for the private rental market.

The Pomona Island regeneration plan is the 20th X1 scheme to be delivered in Manchester, and we worked with the developer to furnish 300 apartments in the new Manchester Waters buildings and create a brand-new urban living project. These towers are 20 stories high and provide hundreds of multi-tenure development opportunities for young professionals and families alike.

Crafting Bespoke Furnishings for Your Projects

Our initial consultation with the client involved visiting our warehouse and discussing with the owner of Manor Interiors, Farhan, to outline their goals and vision for the new Manchester Waters buildings. We then designed bespoke furniture for the new project and delivered samples for display in a show apartment, allowing the client to truly appreciate how our designs would work in their new building.

Seamless: Production Run for 300 Apartments

Once the client approved our furniture designs, we started our production run for all 300 apartments and air freighted all the stock to our warehouse, where it would be ready and waiting until the customer was ready for installation. The development consisted of 3 blocks of apartments, so we kept the goods in our warehouse and furnished one block at a time, as the developer finished them.
